Our history

Since 1994, the ownership and management of Great Lakes Employment Services (aka Great Lakes CDL) has utilized its sixty years of combined experience in the logistics industry to provide high quality driver services to its customers and partners. These experiences allow us to "ramp-up" quickly, providing you with staffing solutions to meet your immediate needs. Our experienced employees require little or no additional training; they "hit the ground running," thereby helping you minimize service disruptions and to maintain productivity.

Importantly, our drivers are OUR employees! We take care of D.O.T. certifications, file maintenance, drug screening of all employees, Workers' Compensation insurance, benefits, all employer-related taxes (including unemployment and employers' half of social security), payroll, and employment standards. Utilizing our services can allow you to avoid "over-employing," allowing for more resource efficiencies and profitability.
